Jan Burkhardt

Dancer, Choreographer, Facilitator & Musician

Jan Burkhardt is a dancer/choreographer and musician, trained also in physiotherapy and Laban-movement-analysis. The main focus of his practice is the application and spatialization of physiological information in the communicative - mostly choreographic - context.

As a dancer Jan recently worked with Laurent Chetouane and Sebastian Matthias, created independent work and is a mentor and facilitator in numerous institutions (Tanzfabrik Berlin, HZT/Berlin, DOCH und Cullberg Ballet/Stockholm, K3/Hamburg, Independent Dance/London a.o.).
